President Trump just ordered 2,000 National Guard members into federal service for the Los Angeles mission, overriding state authority, and crossing a line we should never, EVER tolerate. This isn’t politics, folks; this is a goddamn threat.

Federal troops deployed in American cities without consent isn’t “law and order.” It’s authoritarian bullshit. It’s a deliberate act of intimidation, a political stunt designed to terrify citizens into submission.
Let’s cut through the crap: the Trump administration’s claims that these troops are necessary to handle protests tied to immigration raids are absolute horse shit. It’s transparent, it’s cynical, and it’s designed to stoke fear, create chaos, and justify even more oppressive moves.
Combine this insanity with Trump’s ongoing attacks on judges, on the rule of law, and the systematic dismantling of checks and balances, and the picture is crystal fucking clear: we’re watching our democracy slip away in real-time.
Governor Newsom called it exactly right: a “serious breach of state sovereignty.” Mayor Karen Bass called it “provocative.” They know exactly what they’re seeing: unchecked federal power and a blatant, hostile takeover of local governance.
